It's not often you come across a couple who are so madly in love that they can't stop falling over each other. But with Leanne and Paul, it was evident within minutes of meeting them. As a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I knew I was in for a special shoot.
Leanne found me through my blog and website and got in touch. Initially, they were not planning to have a photographer for their big day, but after seeing my work, they changed their minds. (Score for me!) They didn't want to feel like they were posing for photos all day; they simply wanted to enjoy their wedding with their loved ones. It was music to my ears.
For those who know me or follow my work, you know I despise posing people. The cheesy "look into each other's eyes and smile" shots are not my style.
After an emotional ceremony, we headed out into Hardwick Halls beautiful grounds to get the all-important confetti and group photos. Because it was early January, we didn’t have the light on our side, so we decided to head straight into Leanne and Pauls photos before the wedding breakfast. Doing this worked really well though because it meant we could all relax and let our hair down for what was one of the best parties I had been to this year.

Once the formalities of the wedding day were done it was time for everyone to relax, have fun and start the party. This is what Leanne and Paul had wanted for their special day and boy did they pull it off!
