North East Wedding Photographer- Charlotte and Scott
Charlotte and Scott reached out to me last Autumn to be their North East wedding photographer. Despite Scott's health concerns, they were determined to celebrate their special day with their loved ones. They were getting married at the beautiful the stunning South Shields town hall as the venue for their ceremony. As a North East photographer, I was excited to capture the beauty of this historic building on their big day.
On the morning of their wedding, I arrived to find a picturesque blue sky and a refreshing chill in the air. It was the perfect January day for a wedding. As I made my way up the grand staircase of the town hall, the staff greeted me warmly and provided invaluable assistance in navigating the building and determining the best angles for my shots.
As I captured the heartfelt ceremony and the joyous celebration that followed, I couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of the South Shields town hall and the significance it held for Charlotte and Scott. It was truly an honour to serve as their North East wedding photographer and to be a part of their special day. If you're searching for a wedding venue near Sunderland or South Shields and need a photographer or wedding packages, look no further!
While waiting for Charlotte and her wedding party to arrive, I took advantage of the opportunity to capture some candid shots of Scott and his best man. I then made my way back downstairs to greet the bride.
As I met Charlotte in person for the first time, she exuded a sense of calmness and grace. Her stunning wedding dress added to the radiance of the moment.
As we waited for Scott to complete his formalities with the registrars, I suggested taking some portraits of Charlotte on the grand staircase, which was the focal point of the town hall. This historical building still retained most of its original features, making it a truly spectacular venue for wedding photography. As a North East wedding photographer, I was particularly impressed with the grandeur of the town hall, which added a touch of elegance to the occasion.
Scott and Charlotte's wedding ceremony was filled with both emotions and laughter, which created a beautiful balance. As a Newcastle wedding photographer, I have witnessed many ceremonies in the region and I appreciate when couples add a touch of humour to their vows, as it allows their personalities to shine through.
After the ceremony, I managed to capture some beautiful shots of Scott and Charlotte together, commemorating their special day. Given that Scott's health was not at its best, we decided to focus most of the portraits on the stairs, which provided a great backdrop for multiple angles and allowed the couple to spend some quality time together before the festivities began.
Once we had completed the portraits and confetti shots, we quickly took the group photos before the wind chill became too harsh. We then headed to Liberty Browns, the venue where Charlotte and Scott had their first date and a place that held a special place in their hearts.
As a North East wedding photographer, I spent the rest of the afternoon capturing the natural, down-to-earth moments of Scott and Charlotte's wedding guests. The speeches from Charlotte's brother, Scott's sister, best man, and finally Scott himself were a mix of emotional and hilarious moments.
It was an honour to be Scott and Charlotte's North East wedding photographer. It was a day filled with emotions, love, and fun, and it was a pleasure to capture it all. As a photographer in the North East, I have had the opportunity to work in many beautiful wedding venues near Sunderland, South Shields, and the surrounding areas, and I can confidently say that South Shields town hall is one of the most picturesque venues I have photographed. As a North East photographer, it is always a privilege to be a part of a couple's special day and capture moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
