Middlesbrough Wedding Photographer - Whinstone View Wedding

Katy and Martin

Last year, Katy and Martin exchanged vows on a warm and lovely summer's day at Whinstone View in Middlesbrough, and as a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing their special moments. Whinstone View is a wedding venue that I am quite familiar with and located in a small village on the outskirts of Middlesbrough. The modern barn conversion and private lodges available for wedding guests make this venue unique. Additionally, the tree-lined surroundings create an idyllic countryside ambience.

On the day of Katy's wedding, I arrived at the blue lodge where the bridal party was getting ready. As a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I relish the opportunity to capture the bridal preparations as it adds variety to the wedding album. This is one aspect of weddings that never gets old.

As a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I had the privilege of spending a few hours with Katy in the Blue Lodge, capturing crucial photos before heading down to the wedding barn at Whinstone View to catch up with Martin and his groomsmen. It was my first time photographing an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard at Whinstone View, and it was a unique experience.

I had previously taken Katy and Martin's engagement photoshoot a few years ago, but due to COVID, we hadn't seen each other in some time. However, spending the morning with them felt like no time had passed at all.

In my experience as a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I highly recommend an engagement photoshoot to all my couples. It's an excellent opportunity to break the ice, get to know each other better, and create some stunning photos to cherish.

I had the pleasure of capturing Katy and Martin's beautiful courtyard ceremony at Whinstone View, and as a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I am looking forward to photographing another outdoor wedding at this stunning venue again soon.

Following the ceremony, we took a brief moment to capture their wedding portraits in the nearby countryside. When it comes to wedding portraits, I try not to pose couples too much, as I believe it can be unnatural and fails to reflect their true personalities. As a result, I aim to capture candid and authentic moments that truly showcase the couple's love and joy.

After the wedding portraits, Katy and Martin were free to enjoy some quality time with their guests, while I mingled and captured those essential candid shots that truly tell the story of their Whinstone View wedding day. As a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, I know the value of these candid moments and work hard to capture them throughout the day.

As the day progressed, we moved inside the barn at Whinstone View, which is one of the best wedding venues in the area, in my opinion. Martin, his best man, and Katy's father delivered heartfelt speeches that set the tone for the evening party perfectly. The staff at Whinstone View quickly turned the space around for the cake-cutting and the first dance, which I had the privilege of photographing before spending the rest of the night mingling and capturing candid moments.

If you're searching for a Middlesbrough wedding photographer, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I would be delighted to capture your special day and help you preserve your cherished memories for years to come.
